What is ethical fur?

It is fur that has passed all best animal husbandry practices according to the Animal Welfare Certificate. This certificate is the world’s first certificate that guarantees farmed animals are treated with respect and care. It is a new certification process that has taken several years to create covering all procedures in a farm animal’s life-spend.

We are very proud to use fur with the world’s first certification for animal welfare. This certificate guarantees stringent standards are adhered from the initial stages of rearing the animal to the transportation and best practice at the abattoir. All our fur possessing the certificate is a by-product of the food industry.
Currently only a very few select farms animal transportation companies, abattoirs and tanneries meet the standards required to receive the Animal Welfare Certificate.
